Russian Federation's Arina Openysheva eyes further success in Baku

Russian Federation swimmer Arina Openysheva is eyeing further success at the European Games after already winning three gold medals in Baku.

Russian Federation's Arina Openysheva has said that she is determined to carry on winning medals following her successful haul at the European Games.

The 16-year-old claimed victory in the final of the women's 400m freestyle and then won her second gold medal of the day in the mixed 4x100m freestyle relay in Baku.

She told reporters: "It is nice when you are winning, even when your physical strength is going, your mental strength is rising up.

"I'm ready to continue to participate, I'm ready to win more medals."

Openysheva also won gold in the women's 4x100m freestyle relay on Tuesday and can add to her gold medal haul in the women's 200m freestyle on Thursday.
