Scotland winger Sean Maitland expects Wales to employ an attacking strategy when the two sides meet in the Six Nations on Saturday.

Scotland winger Sean Maitland has said that Wales will adopt an attacking strategy when the two sides meet at Murrayfield in the Six Nations on Saturday.

Scott Johnson's side will be seeking a third straight home win after defeating both Italy and Ireland at Murrayfield.

However, Maitland has admitted that Scotland must improve their game when they face Wales.

"It will definitely be a step up again," he told Sky Sports News.

"They have a class backline. They will have watched the tape of Ireland breaking through us a couple of times, so I think they will definitely come into this game with an attacking mindset.

"Wales will be tough opposition, but we are starting to understand each other. It's all about building trust. We're now in with a chance of winning the championship and the self-belief amongst the team is growing."

Scotland are currently third in the Six Nations table, two points adrift of leaders England.
