Stephen Myler stunned by Northampton Saints triumph

Northampton Saints fly-half Stephen Myler expresses his relief following the team's stunning triumph over Saracens in the Aviva Premiership final.

Northampton Saints fly-half Stephen Myler has expressed his relief following the team's dramatic win over Saracens in the Aviva Premiership final.

The Saints lifted the trophy for the first time in their history on Saturday thanks to a 24-20 victory after extra time at Twickenham Stadium.

Myler and his teammates looked to be heading for a cruel defeat before Alex Waller's last-gasp try decided the match.

"It's hard to take in," he told BT Sport. "A strange game, a strange finish. There probably didn't deserve to be a winner, it was very level. But an amazing feeling and I'm so proud of the lads. I'm just glad it was us that got over the line at the end."

Myler kicked nine of his side's points at Twickenham to help them on their way to the title.
