London Irish stun Harlequins

London Irish win for the first time in three games, beating Harlequins 18-13 in the Aviva Premiership.

A strong second-half performance has helped London Irish to an 18-13 win over Harlequins in the Aviva Premiership.

Nick Evans and Shane Geraghty each kicked two penalties in the first half to ensure the sides headed into half time level at 6-6.

The hosts had a dominant spell at the start of the second half, resulting in tries for Blair Cowan and Alex Lewington.

The Exiles maintained their advantage until the 69th minute,when Danny Care found the try line to give the visitors some late hope.

However, the London side defended well in the last 10 minutes to hold onto their lead.
