Leicester Tigers have recorded a 41-32 victory over London Irish in a pulsating encounter on Sunday.
It was the home side who opened the scoring after five minutes with a Tom Homer penalty, before Daniel Bowden added a drop goal after 14 minutes.
Leicester responded, however, and moved ahead with a Toby Flood try, before he added a conversion after good work from Ben Youngs.
Julian Savi then added a try of his own, but the London Irish finished the first period ahead after a late penalty and conversion from Homer, and a Bryan Evans try.
Flood moved Leicester to within a point with a penalty moments after the break, but Homer moved the home side 23-18 ahead with little more than 25 minutes to play.
Flood continued to lead the away side's charge, however, and scored two penalties and a converstion to move Leicester 31-23 ahead with 20 minutes remaining.
The home side edged into the lead with two penalties from Homer, but the impressive Flood scored two late penatlies and a conversion to secure a 41-32 victory for the away side.
