Ben Nutley scores a late try as Northampton claim the victory from their trip to London Irish.

A late try from substitute Ben Nutley secured a 30-23 victory for Northampton from their trip to London Irish this afternoon.

Irish took held the lead at the break courtesy of tries from Delon Armitage and Sailosi Tagicakibau. Adrian Jarvis managed to convert one of those tries, while also adding two penalties to his side's tally.

Noah Cato scored Northampton's only try of the half in the 10th minute, with two penalties from Stephen Myler boosting their total.

Roger Wilson and Paul Diggin added further tries to bring Northampton back into the match after the break, while Declan Danaher made the scores level with a try for Irish.
