Leinster crush Ospreys

Leinster score five tries in a 36-3 win over Ospreys, sealing a place in the quarter-finals of the Heineken Cup.

Leinster have cruised to a 36-3 win over 14-man Ospreys in the Heineken Cup this evening, sealing their place in the knockout stage of the competition.

Wales lock Ian Evans was sent off 20 minutes into the match after stamping on Mike McCarthy, making him a doubt for the Six Nations, with a ban of up to nine weeks likely to follow.

The home side were able to force a penalty try to give them the lead, before Cian Healy found the line late in the first half to extend their advantage.

Leinster continued to dominate after the break, sealing another penalty try before efforts from Jordi Murphy and Isaac Boss sealed the bonus point.

Richardt Strauss came on to a standing ovation with 14 minutes left to play, making his first appearance for the team since undergoing heart surgery.
