England head coach Stuart Lancaster is certain that this year's Six Nations will be a "tough" tournament to win.

England head coach Stuart Lancaster has insisted that this year's Six Nations will be a "tough" tournament to win.

The four-time champions begin their campaign against Scotland at Twickenham on Saturday, February 2.

"Scotland at home on the backing of the new coaching team is a difficult game," Lancaster told Sky Sports News.

"Every game is tough. It helps having three games at home, but every game is going to be tough and that's the beauty of the tournament."

England's last triumph at the Six Nations came in 2011.
