England centre Henry Slade will be named in Stuart Lancaster's 31-man squad for the Rugby World Cup, according to reports.
The 22-year-old played against France at Twickenham last week alongside fellow debutant Sam Burgess, as the pair attempted to impress Lancaster and force their way into his squad as fourth-choice centre.
Reports have suggested that Burgess, who only switched from rugby league last year, will be included in the squad as he brings power and physicality, but The Telegraph claims that Slade has got the nod because of his attacking flair.
Jonathan Joseph and Brad Barritt are expected to be named by Lancaster, leaving two positions up for grabs, one of which is likely to be taken by Luther Burrell.
Lancaster will name his squad on Thursday afternoon.
