British and Irish Lions full-back Leigh Halfpenny admits that he is "pretty pleased" with his performance following Wednesday's 69-17 win over Western Force.

British and Irish Lions full-back Leigh Halfpenny has admitted that he is "pretty pleased" with his performance following Wednesday's victory over Western Force.

The Welshman kicked over 24 points out of a possible 24 to help the tourists to a comfortable 69-17 win.

"I'm pretty pleased - we'll take that to start with," Halfpenny is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "But it doesn't stop there - we will enjoy this but we'll get back on the training field and continue with the hard work."

The Lions return to action on Saturday when they take on Queensland Reds.
