Sam Warburton "absolutely demoralised" by Wales defeat

Sam Warburton reveals his devastation following Wales's late loss to Australia in Melbourne earlier today.

Sam Warburton has revealed his devastation at Wales's late 25-23 loss to Australia earlier today.

The Welsh looked to be heading for victory thanks largely to the boot of Leigh Halfpenny in Melbourne.

However, a penalty in stoppage time from Mike Harris earned the home side the win and also put them 2-0 up in the three-match series.

"[I'm] speechless," said Warburton. "Absolutely demoralised to come so close. It's tough when they get momentum on the line-out and you have to stop it. Just gutted.

"It was very physical. We've showed a lot of character all season, it's just getting that vital win out here.

"I don't think you can get any closer than that to be honest. We have to pick ourselves up for next week."

Warburton is the youngest player to ever captain the Dragons.
