Blake Green sidelined for up to three months with torn bicep

Wigan Warriors stand-off Blake Green is sidelined for up to three months with a torn bicep.

Wigan Warriors stand-off Blake Green has been ruled out for up to three months with a torn bicep.

The Australian, who is coming towards the end of his contract, suffered the problem on Saturday during the Warriors' 18-14 win over Leeds Rhinos in Super League.

"He's torn his bicep," Wigan coach Shaun Wane is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "It's a two-to-three-month injury, though obviously we'll have a better idea down the track. It's a blow for Blake and for us, but we'll deal with it."

Wigan continue their Super League campaign on Thursday with a trip to Salford Red Devils.
