Featherstone Rovers came from behind to beat Castleford Tigers 23-16 in the Challenge Cup this afternoon.
Daryl Clark crossed the line in the early stages to put the Tigers ahead, before Kirk Dixon's extras extended the lead to six points.
Tangi Ropati responded in minutes with a fast break down the right-hand flank to score Featherstone's first points of the game. However, Liam Finn was unable to level the score with his boot.
Kyle Briggs scored the home team's second try of the game soon after to fire them in front, before Finn successfully added his first points of the game.
Finn added another two points to his total before the half after Ian Hardman touched down, but missed again after Greg Worthington's score took their lead to 14 points.
Josh Griffin added four to the visitors' total before the break, but Featherstone still took a 10-point lead into half time.
Nick Youngquest added another four to Castleford's total after the restart, but the hosts were able to hold their lead for the win.
