Salford City Reds claim a 24-22 win from their trip to Hull KR.

Salford City Reds ran in five tries as they recorded a 24-22 win over Hull KR this afternoon.

Early tries from Jodie Broughton and Danny Williams put the visiting Reds in command, while Daniel Holdsworth also added a drop goal.

However, Hull KR responded with two tries in seven minutes courtesy of Constantine Mika and Blake Green. Michael Dobson then proceeded to score the resultant drop goals to put the home side in front.

A 30th-minute try from replacement Ben Gledhill, which was converted by Holdsworth, handed the lead back to the Reds, who held the advantage at the break.

Craig Hall responded two minutes after the restart with a try for the home team.

A try from Joel Moon shortly after put Salford back in front and despite a late converted try by Dobson, the visitors held out for the victory.
