Castleford Tigers confirm that Rangi Chase will leave the Super League club at the end of the season.

Castleford Tigers have confirmed that Rangi Chase will leave the Super League club at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old is expected to join Salford City Reds after agreeing terms with an unnamed team.

"Castleford Tigers can confirm that terms have been agreed with an unnamed club for the transfer of Rangi Chase," read a statement on the club's official website.

"Chase has also agreed personal terms with the club and will be presented by them in the near future."

The New Zealander has played over 80 games for the Tigers since making his debut in 2009.
