Sports Mole rounds up Tuesday's League One action as Swindon move within three points of top spot in League One thanks to a late win against fellow high flyers Yeovil.

Two late goals gave Swindon Town all three points against Yeovil Town in the battle of two West Country teams pushing for promotion.

Victory for Kevin MacDonald's side moves them up into third place, three points adrift of Doncaster in first and two shy of Brentford in second.

At the other end of the table, Oldham Athletic thrashed fellow strugglers Hartlepool United to edge out of the drop zone, with Robbie Simpson, Jean Yves Mvoto and Jose Baxter on the scoresheet in Lee Johnson's first game in charge.

Bury also picked up a vital win over Stevenage at Gigg Lane, scoring twice after the break to move them off the bottom.

In the other match, Crewe Alexandra came from behind to edge out MK Dons, who had Anthony Kay sent off in the latter stages. Mathias Pogba was the hero, netting both goals for the hosts in the mid-table clash.

Results in full: Bury 2-0 Stevenage, Crewe 2-1 MK Dons, Oldham 3-0 Hartlepool, Yeovil 0-1 Swindon
