Wolverhampton Wanderers announce partnership with Spanish side FC Jumilla

Wolverhampton Wanderers announce that they have agreed a partnership with Spanish third-tier side FC Jumilla.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced that they have agreed to work with Spanish third-tier side FC Jumilla.

The West Midlands outfit have recently focused much of their attention on making first-team additions ahead of their return to the Premier League, but a number of young players have also been signed to represent the club's youth teams.

Wolves have now revealed that a partnership has been set up with FC Jumilla, who will take a number of Wolves players on loan during the coming seasons.

Sporting director Kevin Thelwell told the club's official website: "We are always looking at ways in which we can improve and develop our young players and we believe this partnership is a natural next step for Wolves.

"Many Premier League clubs have similar relationships with overseas sides, and it will provide our young players with an opportunity to play men's football in a more challenging and stimulating environment than we can sometimes find for them in the UK.

"FC Jumilla are a young and ambitious club and we are looking forward to working with them over this season and beyond."

Jumilla finished in 13th place in Segunda Division B - Group 4 during the most recent campaign.
