Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that Antolin Alcaraz and Jean Beausejour could miss the club's match with Manchester United at the weekend.
Alcaraz has a minor groin problem while Beausejour has made good progress in recovering from a hamstring injury, but Martinez has admitted that he will not risk either player if they are not fully fit.
Martinez told the club's website: "We have players who've played a lot of minutes and some who like Antolin Alcaraz have had to be substituted during games with slight injuries which are a concern 48 hours before a league match.
"Overall, I do believe everyone will be ready for the test at Old Trafford but in the case of Antolin and Jean Beausejour, we'll have to assess their condition right up to the last minute."
Wigan are ninth in the Premier League after their opening three matches.
