West Ham United have reportedly made a bid for Stuttgart defender Antonio Rudiger.
The 21-year-old German international has recently been linked with Newcastle United.
Rudiger has three years left to run on his current contract with the Bundesliga club.
The Hammers have now put forward an initial bid of £5m for the youngster as they look to boost their defensive ranks this summer, according to Sky Sports News.
Schalke 04 are also understood to be monitoring Rudiger ahead of the summer transfer window.
