Bournemouth have reportedly moved to sign Newcastle United's out-of-contract midfielder Dan Gosling.
The 24-year-old joined Newcastle on a free transfer in July 2010 but has made just five Premier League starts since.
He made most of his appearances this season on loan with Blackpool in the Championship, scoring two goals in 13 starts for the Seasiders.
According to BBC Radio Solent, Bournemouth are closing in on securing Gosling's services once his contract at the St James' Park side expires in July.
Two months ago Gosling was fined £30,000 by the Football Association for multiple breaches of betting rules.
