Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is reportedly moving towards making a final decision on his future.
The Egypt international is again enjoying another highly-impressive campaign for the Merseyside giants, who sit at the top of the Premier League table.
However, despite an incredible 15 goals and 13 assists coming from 21 starts in the top flight and Champions League, the 32-year-old is yet to extend his contract at Anfield.
There have been several hints from the attacker that negotiations behind the scenes have brought about little progress.
Nevertheless, as per Marca, the situation has since changed with Salah close to making a concrete move to resolve matters.

The report alleges that Salah is now close to renewing his contract with Liverpool courtesy of the club's hierarchy having been proactive in discussions.
Salah has reportedly 'been seduced' into extending his stint at Liverpool with an official announcement expected before the end of the year.
Specifically, it is stated that Salah will remain at Liverpool "for another season". It is unclear whether any contract extension would be for 12 months or longer.
Liverpool and Salah are currently focused on Wednesday's EFL Cup quarter-final at Southampton, albeit being a game which the legendary figure may start among the substitutes.

A necessary breakthrough?
With Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk also yet to pen fresh terms, making a breakthrough with one of the legendary trio has become essential.
Of the three, reports have consistently indicated that Alexander-Arnold is most likely to take on a new challenge, even with the right-back insistent that any discussions will take place out of the public eye.
Liverpool are in a situation where all three can hold discussions with foreign clubs if they reach January 1 without extending their respective deals.
Slot will be eager for no distractions as Liverpool bid to remain ahead of Chelsea in the Premier League table, the current gap standing at two points.
