Felipe Anderson has said that West Ham United continue to have "very good expectations", despite being thrashed by Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
The Hammers have made a number of high-profile additions in the transfer market this summer, but the East London outfit currently sit bottom of the top-flight standings after succumbing tamely at Anfield.
However, Anderson is keen to move on from the disappointment on Merseyside, claiming that Manuel Pellegrini wants his team to play "beautiful football".
The Brazilian told the club's official website: "We knew that the [Liverpool] match was going to be very hard, as their attack is really fast and they score a lot of goals. We prepared for the match well, but this is a very new team and we still have a way to go to get to our best form.
"We have very good expectations for the season, this team wants to play beautiful football and, with a bit more time, all the new signings are going to adapt. The club made a big investment and now what we need to do is to work to make things go well."
West Ham play host to Bournemouth at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
