West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has praised youngster Ravel Morrison for his recent attitude.
The 20-year-old joined from Manchester United last season after numerous off-the-field problems.
Allardyce is pleased with his dedication, although he did warn his players that training levels are monitored.
"He has surprised us from the start with his whole attitude to life, not just towards football, and that is pleasing to see," Allardyce told reporters.
"Dedication doesn't just happen on the football pitch or in training, it happens on a 24/7 basis. We download training live every day and if there is a dip in that output then you say 'Are you feeling ill? Or was it a great night out?'
"It's just a warning. We know some lads like a night out, but it always has to be at the right time."
West Ham take on Hull City on Saturday afternoon.
