West Ham United playmaker Dimitri Payet has vowed to return "stronger" from his ankle injury.

The Frenchman is expected to be out for around three months after suffering the problem in the 1-1 draw with Everton on Saturday.

Payet posted the below video of the challenge which caused the injury by Everton's James McCarthy, along with the following message: "Hey guys just a little feedback just wanted to say that I'm recovering.

"I'm gonna work even harder and I will be back stronger. See you soon Hammers.⚒"

Payet has scored five and set up three of West Ham's Premier League goals this season after joining the East London side from Marseille over the summer.
