Saido Berahino to hold West Bromwich Albion talks?

A report claims that Saido Berahino and West Bromwich Albion chairman Jeremy Peace will meet over the coming days to discuss the striker's long-term future at the club.

West Bromwich Albion have reportedly called a meeting with Saido Berahino to discuss the striker's future at The Hawthorns.

The 22-year-old has long been linked with a move away from the Baggies, having gone public with his desire to join Tottenham Hotspur last summer.

He was also the subject of interest from the likes of Newcastle United and Stoke City during the recent January transfer window, but West Brom resisted those approaches.

According to the Express & Star, Berahino will now sit down with chairman Jeremy Peace over the next few days to reach a long-term resolution.

Berahino has 18 months left to run on his West Brom contract.
