West Bromwich Albion manager Alan Pardew has issued his players with a stark relegation warning ahead of this weekend's crunch Premier League clash at Watford.
The Baggies boss has urged his squad to fight tooth and nail to avoid the drop and reminded them of the consequences that come with dropping out of the top flight.
"These guys are paid a lot of money to play for the football club. Obviously, I'm the manager but there's everyone associated with this situation," Pardew told reporters in his pre-match press conference. "I've made it very very clear to them people will lose jobs.
"It might be the manager it might be staff underneath me that might have to lose their job if we get relegated. So we've go to fight. I want to see fight on the pitch."
Although Pardew has insisted that he will not walk away from Albion, reports suggest he could be pushed if they lose at Watford, a result that could leave them further adrift at the foot of the Premier League table.
