Roy Hodgson has said that West Bromwich Albion's 5-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday was one of the team's best ever performances.
Peter Odemwingie got a hat-trick in a game which forced an apology from Wolves boss Mick McCarthy.
"This was certainly up there as one of the best performances since I've been here," Hodgson said. "It's important now the team takes confidence from the performance.
"The reason we won was quite simply we had a very good day. We played good football and created lots and lots of chances.
"The reason they lost was that we played well."
West Brom are currently 14th in the Premier League with 29 points from 25 games.
