New one-year Watford deal for Luke O'Nien

Watford teenager Luke O'Nien signs a new one-year contract with the Hornets.

Watford teenager Luke O'Nien has signed a new one-year contract with the Hornets.

The 19-year-old, who came off the bench for his first-team debut against Barnsley in March, has extended his stay at the club until the end of next season.

The midfielder appeared on Watford's bench on nine occasions in all competitions this season before spending the final month of the campaign on loan at non-league side Wealdstone.

He first joined the Hornets at Under-9 level, last year graduating from the club's academy.
