Enrique Cerezo believes Thibaut Courtois will stay

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo is confident that on-loan Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois will remain in Madrid next season.

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo believes that Thibaut Courtois will remain on loan at the Spanish outfit next season.

The Belgian goalkeeper is coming to the end of his third year on loan in Madrid and as it stands, will return to parent club Chelsea at the end of the campaign.

However, Cerezo is confident that the 22-year-old will remain at the Calderon for a further season.

"Courtois to Barca? I see him at Atletico, at least next season, but it's up to Chelsea," Cerezo told SER Catalunya.

Courtois moved to Chelsea from Genk in 2011.
