Veteran striker Filippo Inzaghi will reportedly visit the Watford training ground later today for talks over a move to the Championship club.
The 38-year-old is currently considering his options following his release from Italian side AC Milan at the end of last season.
It has been claimed that clubs in America and the Middle East have offered the former Italy international lucrative deals to sign with them.
However, having recent been taken over by the Pozzo family, Watford are now contenders for the centre-forward's signature, according to the Watford Advertiser.
Inzaghi made nine appearances for the Rossoneri during the last campaign.
