An Almen Abdi goal gives Watford a 1-0 lead over high-flying Leicester at half-time of their Championship match.

Watford have taken a 1-0 lead into half-time of their match against high-flying Leicester City this afternoon.

The hosts took the lead after just 12 minutes after Fernando Forestieri and Troy Deeney linked up well to set up Almen Abdi, who proceeded to slide the ball past the keeper.

Forestieri almost doubled his side's lead on the 20-minute mark with a low shot that was well saved by Kaspar Schmeichel.

Leicester almost got an equaliser after half an hour when Wes Morgan got on the end of a corner, but his effort was cleared off the line by Jonathan Hogg.
