On September 10, 1985 following Scotland?s 1-1 draw with Wales at Cardiff?s Ninian Park, Jock Stein suffered a heart attack and passed away in the stadium?s medical room. That draw saw Scotland secure a playoff against Australia that would eventually lead them to qualification to the 1986 World Cup finals.
