Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin believes that team spirit was key to his side's 2-0 victory over Sampdoria.
Zebrette have moved into eighth thanks to goals from Danilo Larangeira and Antonio Di Natale, but Guidolin refused to be drawn on the prospect of another season in Europe.
"I have said before that the spirit of the team is important, and that was the case today," Football Italia quote Guidolin as saying.
"Our spirit has increased but so has our quality. I want to see that sort of attitude in our upcoming games."
When pressed on what his team could achieve this season, he replied: "I do not want to talk about Europe – we must do things slowly and immediately think about the next game."
Udinese were recently eliminated from the Europa League, having been dumped out of the qualifying stage of the Champions League by Braga.
