Troyes and Sochaux have played out a goalless draw with each other at Stade de l'Aube in Ligue 1.
The result means that Troyes are second from bottom, while their visitors on Saturday are just a point above the relegation zone in 17th.
The first half took a while to kickstart into life, as the first genuine attempt to score by either side was made only after 17 minutes.
Sochaux's Sebastien Corchia's free kick went just wide and then Jean-Christophe Bahebeck had two chances in quick succession for the hosts.
Florian Jarjat headed Fabien Camus's corner narrowly off target from the centre of the box, before Joseph Romeric Lopy shot wide of the Troyes goal.
Chances continued to be created and both goalkeepers kept busy during the second half, as Sebastien Roudet and Sloan Privat had two good chances for the visitors, while Stephane Darbion saw his shot saved.
Ryad Boudebouz too tried his luck on 72 minutes but in vain, as both sides settled for a share of the spoils.
