Frank Lampard has joined David Villa as New York City FC's latest signing after being unveiled in a press conference on Thursday.
Lampard will be given a two-year deal and will be a part of the club's debut season in the MLS next year.
Although it is unclear at where the Englishman will play until then, Lampard expressed to reporters that nothing has been confirmed and that he is just looking to keep fit until then.
Villa also joined the MLS franchise earlier this month and will go on a six-month loan to A-League side Melbourne City FC, with rumours of Lampard following.
Manchester City and the New York Yankees purchased the expansion rights of New York City FC for $100m (£59m).
