Toulouse confirm that midfielder Moussa Sissoko will leave the club to join Newcastle United.

Toulouse have confirmed that midfielder Moussa Sissoko will leave the club with immediate effect to join Newcastle United.

The Magpies, who are poised to add another French signing in their busy transfer window, are believed to have been tracking the 23-year-old, who is thought to be keen on joining up with the club's other French stars.

A statement on Toulouse's official website revealed that the midfielder has agreed terms and will complete the transfer imminently.

Newcastle have also poached Ligue 1 duo Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa and Massadio Haidara.
