Atalanta 1-5 Torino

Torino score four second-half goals to produce an impressive 5-1 away win at Atalanta.

Torino produced a remarkable spell of four goals in 15 minutes to turn their trip to Atalanta into an eye-catching victory.

Atalanta had made a bright start and opened the scoring through prolific forward German Denis, who profited from a fine assist from Riccardo Cazzola.

The newly-promoted visitors were level before half time through former Manchester City striker Rolando Bianchi, who converted from the penalty spot.

Torino turned the screw on the hour when Alessandro Gazzi headed in Alessio Cerci's cross to give his side the lead.

Cerci was the creator again three minutes later as he provided the pass for Alen Stevanovic to guide home a controlled volley.

More superb movement from a set-piece made it four for Torino when Danilo D'Ambrosio evaded his marker to head home from close range.

Bianchi was back in the goals to complete the rout 15 minutes from time as he profited from widespread indecision in the Atalanta backline.

An impressive win from Giampiero Ventura's men moves them to sixth placein the Serie A table, with Atalanta condemned to a place in the bottom half.
