Alan Curtis "comfortable" with Swansea City role despite uncertainty over future

Alan Curtis says that he is "comfortable" about his caretaker role at Swansea City, despite his long-term future being uncertain.

Swansea City's caretaker manager Alan Curtis has insisted that he is "comfortable" with the current situation, despite not being certain over his future at the club.

Curtis stepped in on a temporary basis when Garry Monk was sacked earlier this month.

As the club are searching for a permanent replacement, Curtis's long-term future remains unclear.

When asked in today's press conference if a statement from Swansea's board regarding his future would be helpful, Curtis told reporters: "It may help but I would never look for that. I'm quite comfortable with the situation we are in. It's a day-by-day basis and things could change.

"I don't need any statement. You just do what you're paid to do and prepare the club. I prepare the team for the weekend and you just carry on doing that until the situation changes and we do appoint somebody."

Swansea are just two points above the relegation zone in the Premier League.
