Sunderland midfielder Lee Cattermole has revealed that he was delighted with his side's performance in their 0-0 draw against Swansea City.
The Black Cats are still looking for their first win in the top flight this season, and drew a blank for the second game in a row in the clash with the Swans at the Stadium of Light.
However, the 26-year-old feels that there are plenty of positives to take out of his side's display against Garry Monk's men.
"It is another positive performance," Cattermole told the club's official website. "Against Burnley we drew 0-0 and the performance wasn't great but I thought we were brilliant today.
"Swansea are a very good team and you won't come up against a better side outside the top four; the boys worked hard and chucked everything at them to get the result and on another day we win the game."
Sunderland are 15th in the Premier League with five points from six matches so far this season.
