Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has claimed that he is happy with his squad, despite missing out on a number of targets in the summer transfer window.
The Potters were linked with moves for Benfica striker Nelson Oliviera and former Manchester United man Mame Biram Diouf, but failed to land either.
"Few clubs can say, hand on heart, that they got everybody they wanted," Hughes told The Sentinel.
"It's on record that we pursued a number that fell through, but when you look back at what we have got and the balance of the squad, I am delighted. Overall, it has been a good window.
"It's important if you go into the market that you come out with a stronger squad, and I think we have."
Stoke are currently fifth in the Premier League after three games.
