Swansea City are reportedly prepared to offer Tottenham Hotspur up to £5m for Andros Townsend during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The England youth international has impressed during his loan stint at Queens Park Rangers that is due to expire at the end of the campaign.
However, despite his performances, it has been claimed that he will find it difficult to break into the Spurs starting lineup upon his return, particularly because they already have the likes of Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon who play in wide roles.
That has alerted the Swans, who are hoping to tempt Spurs into parting with the 21-year-old, according to the London Evening Standard.
Townsend's contract at White Hart Lane does not expire until 2016.
