Tottenham Hotspur 'not looking to sell Dele Alli in January'

Tottenham Hotspur are not prepared to let out-of-favour midfielder Dele Alli leave on loan or permanently this month, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly not willing to sanction an exit for Dele Alli in the January transfer window.

With Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso - the latter of whom is currently injured - both impressing for Jose Mourinho's men this season, Alli has often been left watching on from the sidelines.

The England international has only started a Premier League game on one occasion during the 2020-21 campaign, and speculation has been rife surrounding his future with Paris Saint-Germain - now managed by former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino - believed to be interested.

However, Sky Sports News claim that Spurs will not allow Alli to depart permanently or temporarily this month and expect him to fight to regain Mourinho's trust and a spot in the starting lineup.

The report adds that if Spurs were to sell the 24-year-old, chairman Daniel Levy would likely demand a fee in the region of £60m for a player who has only appeared 11 times in all competitions this season.

Alli - who was singled out for criticism by Mourinho after Tottenham's EFL Cup win over Stoke City - still has three-and-a-half years left to run on his current Tottenham deal.
