Tottenham Hotspur boss Tim Sherwood open to selling players

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Tim Sherwood says that he is willing to sell players this month.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Tim Sherwood has revealed that he is willing to let players leave this month.

The North London outfit have a packed squad following the reported £100m spent by ex-boss Andre Villas-Boas in the summer.

Seven recruits arrived at White Hart Lane after the club sealed the £85m sale of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid.

A number of those recruits, including Nacer Chadli and Lewis Holtby, have failed to become regulars since Sherwood took over at the club in December.

According to ITV Sport, when asked if he was open to selling players, Sherwood said: "Yes, absolutely. As long as they're the players I don't want to take us forwards, then I'm happy [to sell them]."

Spurs are currently sixth in the Premier League table.
