Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente has admitted that he will consider a return to former club Athletic Bilbao.
The 33-year-old has made little impact since arriving in North London from Swansea City in a £12m deal last year, scoring a combined two goals in 28 Premier League and Champions League matches.
Llorente was brought off the bench for the closing stages of Tuesday's clash with Barcelona for his seventh appearance of the season - six of those as a sub.
A return to Spanish football with Athletic is now a possibility, with the ex-Juventus and Sevilla ace telling Cadena SER: "I would like to go back to Athletic.
"My priority is to feel important in the team. If I have the opportunity and can talk to them, for me, yes, I would like to go back."
Llorente was recently linked with a surprise switch to Championship side Leeds United, who are managed by former Athletic boss Marcelo Bielsa.
