Former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Ian Walker is under no illusions that Harry Redknapp can lead the North London side to the Premier League title.
Spirits have been high in the Spurs camp following an eleven-game unbeaten run this season, but Walker believes that the third-placed side are not contenders just yet.
"It's going to be a tall order to win the league but they've started well and possibly finishing in the top three," Walker told talkSPORT.
"I don't think they'll win the league, though. When Harry said that it was a bit tongue in cheek. Manchester City are looking very strong and there are other teams around that look strong as well.
"Tottenham have certainly improved since Harry has taken over and they've got better step by step. Hopefully before too long they'll be challenging for the title but I don't think they'll get there this season."
Tottenham go head to head with Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium this Sunday.
