Scott Parker is wary of Stoke City's threat but thinks that Tottenham can display their "quality" to secure a win at the Britannia Stadium.

Scott Parker believes that Tottenham Hotspur will claim a victory over Stoke City but is prepared for a "difficult" battle at the Britannia Stadium.

Harry Redknapp's side have the chance to grab an 11th win from 12 games this season, but Parker thinks that the North London side need to focus on defending their record on away turf.

"It is a difficult place to go to," Parker told the club's official website. "The way they play, they put you under a lot of pressure at times.

"They've got the well-documented 'Rory Delap throw' and I think at any time in a game, when you play against Stoke, there's always a chance you could be under pressure in terms of where the ball is on the field.

"There's no doubt, we're going to have to go there and defend as a team and hopefully show our quality going forward to go and win the game. We're confident, we have a rhythm to our game, we know what we need to do, we know how to play. We just need to maintain that."

Spurs sit third in the Premier League table, seven points adrift of leaders Manchester City.
