Mauricio Pochettino backs Harry Kane to improve

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino believes that Harry Kane will improve after scoring his 30th goal of the season against Newcastle United.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has said that Harry Kane has the "potential to improve" after scoring his 30th goal of the season.

The 21-year-old struck late on during his side's 3-1 victory over Newcastle United to reach the landmark, but Pochettino is confident that he can get even better.

"Kane has more potential," The Mirror quotes him as saying. "It is his first full season in the first team. We need to push him and try to improve his level. He has potential to improve.

"His challenge now is five games ahead. We can't pressure him. We need to be calm and let him improve. Give him the time to play, recover and have holidays. It is impossible to think of next season."

Kane has now moved level with Sergio Aguero on 20 goals at the top of the Premier League scoring charts.
