Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has said that he was pleased with his team's performance in Saturday afternoon's Premier League clash with Watford.
The points were shared in a goalless draw at Vicarage Road, but the home side had the best chance of the match in the second half from the penalty spot.
Troy Deeney saw his effort saved by Paulo Gazzaniga, though, and neither team could find a late goal as the points were shared on the afternoon.
Mourinho has claimed that his side "played well" against the Hornets when considering that they arrived at Vicarage Road without a physical team.
"I think we played well. We started well, we finished well and for the majority of the time we played well. It is not easy to come here and play with a team that is not physical, just technical," Mourinho told reporters.
"I think we had control of the game for the majority, sometimes it is impossible. I think we coped well with Watford and considering our style without a number nine, I think we played very well."
Tottenham are currently seventh in the Premier League table, eight points off fourth-placed Chelsea.
