Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Watford

Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League trip to in-form Watford.

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they face a resurgent Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday lunchtime.

Jose Mourinho's side ended a four-game run without a victory by securing their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup at Middlesbrough's expense on Tuesday night, but they are still searching for their first league win of 2020.

A run of only four points from their last five league games has seen them slip down to eighth, whereas only Liverpool have picked up more points than Watford over the same period.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of this match.

Harry Kane

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: April 25 (vs. Arsenal)

Spurs will have to cope without their talisman and top scorer for much of the remainder of the season, with Harry Kane having been ruled out until April at the earliest with a torn hamstring suffered on New Year's Day.

Hugo Lloris

Status: Out
Type of injury: Elbow
Possible return date: January 22 (vs. Norwich City)

Spurs have also been without their captain for a large chunk of the season, although Hugo Lloris is closing in on a return from the horror elbow injury he suffered in October. This match will come too soon for him, but he could be back this month, which would be earlier than expected.

Moussa Sissoko

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: April 25 (vs. Arsenal)

Another long-term absentee, Moussa Sissoko is not expected back to training until early April due to a knee injury, forcing Mourinho into the transfer market with loan signing Gedson Fernandes bolstering their midfield options.

Ben Davies

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: January 22 (vs. Norwich)

Ben Davies has been sidelined with ankle ligament damage since Mourinho's first game in charge, but a return looks to be close for the full-back.

Tanguy Ndombele

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hip
Possible return date: Unknown

Tottenham's record signing Tanguy Ndombele has endured a miserable time with injuries since his switch to North London and he is currently sidelined by a hip problem he sustained on New Year's Day.
