Hodgson confident Spurs can challenge for title

West Brom manager Roy Hodgson claims that Tottenham can challenge both Manchester clubs for the Premier League title this season.

West Bromwich Albion manager Roy Hodgson has claimed that Tottenham Hotpur can challenge for the Premier League title this season.

Hodgson made the claim after seeing his side lose 1-0 at White Hart Lane on Tuesday night.

"Spurs are serious title contenders and they are putting pressure on the two Manchester clubs to keep winning," he said.

"They are getting some distance between themselves and the chasing pack of Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool."

Harry Redknapp's side have set a new club record by scoring in 18 successive league matches this season and are six points behind league leaders Manchester City.
